free operating systemIf you have time to read the bio you’ll notice that I was primarily on the belief that operating systems must be cheap or even better, free of charge. Some years ago I stumbled across UNIX while working in the field as a computer support specialist. I became fascinated with the different types of control one server to the client’s business location. Want to know more, I decided to do some research on what the Unix “he said. It was during this period I was introduced to the world of the free operating system and free software.

I have a lot of time researching all the information I found about why someone would go to the trouble to set up, operating system, which gives it for free. It is through this research, I discovered a whole community of people dedicated to the Linux operating system and free software is still free to go with it. These people continue to this day, devoted to improving Linux, as well as the software that meets or exceeds the needs of those who choose to use the above.

Ubuntu is a Linux-only version, which is fast becoming the most user-friendly operating systems. The Ubuntu software is commonly used by us. You’ll find applications like Open Office, which corresponds to the Windows version of Microsoft Office. Will find everything from games to browsers, audio and video programs and more. Everything is free and supported. I have a problem with a particular software package? Find the answers to a few keystrokes. Enter the problem in a browser, and then a forum or website to find out the answer. If the answer is no, simply send your request for help and someone will be willing to help.

Since Ubuntu Linux is free and open source means that the encoding program is also open. For those familiar with the programming, it’s a big advantage of the variable at the discretion of the operating system or software. Another advantage is that you can get involved by providing feedback if you like or dislike. If programmers can tweak some of the software and submit it to have been given to other like-minded people who want to see the Linux and free software can continue to use for everyone.
